I graduated from Brown University with a degree in Visual Arts. While at Brown I focused mainly in sculptural work using any and all mediums to suit my needs. While at Brown I took advantage of the cross registration program with the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), which allowed me to take some classes that Brown didn’t offer. It was there, while taking a class at RISD that I fell in love with glass. After that I reached out to grasp any information I could that might help lead me down the path of a glass artist. Eventually I found out about the Pilchuk Glass School where I ended up taking a class one summer. It was a wonderful experience and I hope to go back there again some day.
Since graduating I have taken up a position assisting the art teachers at a local private school. There I assit with the Glass Class and help out in the studio. In my spare time I create my own original glass artwork, which I hope to eventually put up for sale. |
